BMW M4

(All wallpapers are HD)

The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, the BMW M GmbH, the M4 is one of the Fastest M cars ever produced by BMW achieving 0-100km/h (0-62m/h) in just 4 seconds. Part of the renumbering that BMW splits the 3 Series coupe and convertible models to the 4 Series (to further differentiate with the 3 Series sedans), the M4 replaces the M3 Coupe and Convertible models, as well as the Gran Coupe. Upgrades over the standard 4-Series include: a very powerful and responsive, twin turbocharged engine; improved handling, suspension, and braking systems; aerodynamic body enhancements; interior/exterior accents with the tri-colour "M" (Motorsport) badging; the significantly reduced weight compared to the standard 4 series and its predecessor with an all-new stiffer chassis and extensive use of carbon fiber, especially the roof of the car.

It has a bitter rivalry with the bonkers Mercedes C63 AMG and Audi's RS5, not to mention cars like the Maseratti Ghibli, Alfa Romeo Giulia and Lexus RC-F.

BMW officially presented the M4 concept on August 16, 2013. However, the concept car did not reveal any interior or technical details. On September 25 2013, BMW released technical specifications of the M4 which will be powered by M-tuned S55B30 engine, although it is a 3.0 L inline engine BMW says it is completely different to the N55 engine seen in other BMW 35i models, this engine has been built specifically for the New M4/M3, displacing 3.0 L (180 cu in) and redlining at 7,500 rpm. The rev limiter coming in at 7,600rpm. The engine will use two mono-scroll turbochargers with boost peaking at 18.1 PSI.

The power is rated at 425 hp (317 kW; 431 PS) while torque will be 550 N·m (410 lb·ft). The weight of the 6 speed manual M4 will be 3,556 lb (1,613 kg), with the M-DCT some 40kg heavier. Both 6-speed manual and 7-speed M-DCT transmissions will be available. The 7-speed M-DCT transmission will accelerate the car from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.9 seconds. The 6-speed manual transmission will do 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 4.1 seconds.

Carbon fiber reinforced plastic will be used extensively throughout the car, including drive shaft, roof, roof bow, trunk, and front strut brace. For the first time in the M vehicle, an electric power steering unit will be used. The steering system will be specifically tuned for the M3 and M4. The 18 inches (460 mm) and 19 inches (480 mm) wheel options will be available with lightweight forged alloys being standard. The M compound brakes will be standard (in blue), while carbon ceramic brakes (in gold) will be available as an option.

The M4 will feature Active Sound ,A live amplification of the engine's natural sound will be inducted into the passenger cabin via the speakers, BMW says this technology is been used because of the well insulated cabin to avoid road / wind noise but still provide the driver the sporty sound of the M powered Engine . There will not be any artificial sound or any pre-recorded track. Overall, 70 percent of the components on the M4 will be standalone compared to the F32 4 Series.

Ford Shelby GT350 2016

            (All wallpapers are hd)

Many used to laugh at it. Now they regret laughing. When Ford first showed off its brilliant GT350 for 2016, everyone took notice. When Ford revealed its arsenal of abilities and specs, their eyes widened, and when Ford revealed its price, they simply popped out. Here was a car with flat plane crank V8, lots of power, good handling, and oodles of style and presence, for a lot less than an M4 with considerably less power. On paper atleast, its a winner.

It produces a good round 510 bhp(as much as the twice as expensive Mercedes AMG GT).

Shelby GT350 (2016-)
For 2015, GT350 has been confirmed, featuring a 5.2 L Flat Plane Crank V8 engine with 526 hp (392 kW) and 429 lb·ft (582 N·m) of torque. The GT350 is more track focused than the GT500, and was bench marked against the Camaro Z28, Porsche GT3, and BMW M4. Notable features are track-focused chassis tuning, significant aero-dynamic changes to include lowering the hood around the engine, two piece Brembo brakes, MagneRide damping option, light weight Tremec six speed manual transmission, Recaro seats, and various light weighting efforts. Specifically a carbon fiber reinforced polymer radiator support that directs cooling channels for various components.

Though not direct competitors, any bloke in a DB9, Maseratti Gran Turismo, Corvette or even an Audi R8 should be wary of pulling up against this beast at traffic lights.

Additional options, such as larger alloy wheels, navigation system, rear backup sensors, a rear backup camera, Blind Spot Monitoring, security system, remote vehicle starter system, SHAKER PRO Surround Sound Premium Sound System, premium leather seating surfaces, sunroof and HID front headlamps are available. Interior color schemes, such as Coral Red and Saddle, are available in addition to the standard Black interior color scheme.

Shelby GT350R (2016-)
A further enhanced and even more limited edition of the GT350 with an "R" package (GT350R) was announced by Ford at the 2015 North American International Auto show in Detroit, to be available to customers later in the year with only 37 units being made. The first GT350R with #001 sold for $1 million at Barrett Jackson Auction at Scottsdale, Arizona.

A combination of changes to aerodynamics and suspension tuning to the new Shelby® GT350R Mustang leads to most race-ready road-legal Mustang ever. Significant engineering innovations result in weight savings, aero improvements to benefit on-track performance; Ford is the first major automaker to introduce carbon fiber wheels as standard equipment on Shelby GT350R Mustang. Items removed include air conditioning, the stereo system, rear seats, trunk floorboard and carpet, backup camera and emergency tire sealer and inflator. Exhaust resonators also have been removed for weight savings with the benefit of creating a sharper exhaust tone.

The Shelby GT350R is more than 130 lbs (59 kg) lighter than the Shelby GT350 Track Pack model, which has proven its durability in multiple 24 hour racetrack tests. The GT350R also comes with carbon fiber rims which contain NASA technology and weigh only 18 lbs (8 kg) each compared to similarly specified aluminum rims which typically weigh 33 lbs (15 kg) each.

Aside from carbon fiber wheels, larger front splitter and rear wing, Shelby GT350R features distinct design details. Exterior touches include red painted brake calipers, red pin striping at the edges of the optional over-the-top racing stripes and Shelby GT350R badging. Inside is high-contrast red stitching, Shelby GT350R badging and the D-shaped steering wheel fitted with a red center mark at the top.

One optional feature for the GT350R is the GT350R Technology Package, which adds the Ford SYNC 3 multimedia infotainment system, seven speakers, a rear backup camera system, SIRIUS-XM Satellite Radio, and air conditioning. The package is ideal for GT350R buyers who plan to use their car for more than track purposes or for show.

McLaren 570S

The McLaren 570S is a sports car designed and manufactured by McLaren Automotive. It was unveiled at the New York International Auto Show in 2015. McLaren predict the model will help triple the company's sales volume by 2020, with UK pricing scheduled at £143,250 GBP, whilst North American pricing is estimated at $180,000 USD.

It goes up against the brutish Mercedes AMG GT, Porsche 911 Turbo S, the Lamborghini Huracan and the new Audi R8.

Design

The car is to be powered by a new iteration of the 3.8 litre twin turbo V8 engine already used in the McLaren 650S and P1, designated M838T E with thirty percent of the parts redesigned. Arranged in the car as a rear-mid engine configuration, it will deliver 562 brake horsepower (419 kW) through a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox. A total weight of 1,313 kilograms (2,895 lb) give the 570S a power to weight ratio of 428 brake horsepower (319 kW) per tonne, deliver fuel economy of 25.5 miles per imperial gallon (11.1 L/100 km; 21.2 mpg-US) and CO2 emissions of 258g/km.

540C Front View
At the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show the entry level McLaren Sports Series car the McLaren 540C was unveiled with 533 bhp (540PS). This new entry level model focuses on “day-to-day usability and driveability” even more than that of the 570S with improved city driving and improved ride quality. The 540C will be even cheaper than the 570S at only £126,000 and will go on sale shortly after its Shanghai debut. The 540C will not be for sale in the US due to McLaren wanting to focus on the more powerful 570S model for the US market.

Mercedes AMG GT

AMG's follow up album to the mighty SLS, this one's heading straight for the 911 turbo. Driven by 4 litres of twin turbo charged dry sump V8 charisma, that low slung body with a mile long bonnet and a stuby boot, this macho statement on wheels has lots to entice customers. Though marketed as a Grand Tourer, its performance figures are not short of hardcore, what with it sprinting to 60 mph in 3 seconds dead and not giving up untill your on the loonier side of 186 mph. With the bells and whistles GT S costing $130k, it still is a lot less than what the 911 turbo commands. In the market, it competes with the not so august company of the Mclaren Sports Series, the technofest called Audi R8, and ofcourse, the venerable 911

History

The interior of the Mercedes-AMG GT was previewed on April 16, 2014. The car made its debut on 9 September 2014. At launch two models are available: the GT, with 350 kW (476 PS; 469 bhp), and the GT S with 375 kW (510 PS; 503 bhp). The GT has 600 N·m (443 lb·ft) of torque, and the GT S has 650 N·m (479 lb·ft) of torque.

Mercedes-AMG GT S Formula 1 safety car
The Mercedes-AMG GT S is Formula 1's current safety car, having made its debut in that role at the 2015 Australian Grand Prix.
Mercedes-AMG CEO Tobias Moers promised a Black Series variant of the Mercedes-AMG GT, as well as a GT3 racing and street version, to rival the Porsche 911 GT3. Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that the new Mercedes-AMG GT S will cost starting at $129,900.

Specifications

M178 V8 in a GT. The turbochargers are visible in the centre, beneath a metallic heat shield.
The GT uses a front mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout, with the engine inside the vehicle's wheelbase. The spaceframe chassis and body are made out of aluminium alloys, while the boot lid is steel and the engine bonnet magnesium. The suspensions are double wishbones front and rear, with forged aluminium wishbones and hub carriers.
The car is powered by a front-mid mounted M178 4-litre twin-turbo V8. This new V8 is in "hot inside V" configuration—with exhaust and turbochargers inside the cylinder banks to reduce turbo lag—and uses dry-sump lubrication. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a transaxle 7-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch transmission; the GT S model employs an electronically controlled mechanical limited-slip differential. In Car and Driver's road test, the AMG GT S accelerated from 0-60 in 3.0 seconds and ran the quarter mile in 11.2 seconds.

Chevrolet Camaro 2016 (Sixth Generation)

On May 16, 2015, Chevrolet introduced the sixth generation Camaro at Belle Isle park in Detroit, Michigan. The launch, complete with previous generation Camaros on display, coincided with the vehicle's upcoming 50th birthday.

The advent of the new Camaro will be a challenge to its oldest and main rival, the iconic Mustang.

The sixth generation Camaro sales will begin in late 2015 and will be offered in LT and SS models built on the GM Alpha platform at Lansing Grand River Assembly in Michigan. The A platform is currently used by the Cadillac ATS. The 2016 Camaro will weigh 200 lb (91 kg) less than its predecessor. Over 70% of the sixth generation's architectural components are unique to the car and are not shared with any other current GM product.

Early production will have three engine versions: a 2.0-liter turbo-charged inline-four producing 275 hp (205 kW; 279 PS), a new 3.6-liter V6 making 335 hp (250 kW; 340 PS), while the SS model features the 6.2-liter V8 with 455 hp (339 kW; 461 PS), and the transmissions are either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.

On May 27, 2015, Chevrolet announced that the 2016 Camaro will come equipped with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Capability features. However, only one of their phone brands at any one time can be used.

Ferrari 488 GTB

The Ferrari 488 GTB (Tipo F142M) is a mid-engined sports car produced by the Italian sports car manufacturer Ferrari. It was launched on 3 February 2015, in advance of its world première at the March 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The 488 GTB is a heavily re-engineered replacement for the Ferrari 458, sharing several design features and chassis measurements. The 488 GTB was priced at £181,849 in the UK, an increase of around 2% on the 458 price.

It is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8.

It replaces the excellent 458 Italia, so has a lot to live up to. Also, it face competition from the likes of the super quick Mclaren 650S and 675LT and also the best car lamborghini has ever made, the  Lamborghini Huracan.

Engine

The 488 GTB is powered by a 3,902 cc (238 cu in) all-aluminium dry sump unit of the Ferrari F154 engine family. Turbocharged with two parallel ball-bearing twin-scroll turbochargers supplied by IHI and two air-to-air intercoolers, the compressor wheels are made of low-density TiAl alloy often used in jet engines to reduce inertia and resist high temperatures within the turbocharger. The engine produces 670 PS (493 kW; 661 hp) at 8000 rpm and 760 N·m (561 lb·ft) of torque at 3000 rpm. This results in a specific power output of 126.3 kW (171.7 PS; 169.4 hp) per litre and specific torque output of 194.8 N·m (144 lbf·ft) per litre, both records for a Ferrari road car.

Transmission

The only available transmission for the 488 is an automatic dual-clutch 7-speed F1 gearbox manufactured for Ferrari by GETRAG, based on the gearbox used in the 458.

Handling

Improved carbon-ceramic brakes are supplied on the 488, derived from technology used in LaFerrari, constructed with new materials that reduce the time needed to achieve optimum operating temperature. Disc sizes are 398 mm at the front, and 360 mm at the rear. These advancements reportedly reduce stopping distances by 9% over the 458.

A new 5-spoke alloy wheel design is designed for the 488, measuring 20 inches front and rear. Front tyres measure 245/35 with rears 305/30.

Performance

Claimed manufacturer performance of the 488 is 0–100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.0 seconds, 0–200 km/h (120 mph) in 8.3 seconds, covering the quarter mile in 10.45 seconds and continuing to a top speed in excess of 330 km/h (210 mph).

Design

The body of the 488 has been designed to increase downforce by 50% over the 458 while reducing aerodynamic drag. A new front double splitter increases radiator cooling while a newly-designed blown spoiler integrated into the rear decklid and bumper increases downforce without requiring a raised wing. The central "Aero Pillar" deflects air under the flat body of the car while two vents in the bonnet provide an exit for air from the dual intakes of the front bumper, further reducing air pressure over the front of the car.

Underbody vortex generators work to reduce air pressure beneath the car thereby increasing overall downforce. A larger rear diffuser works to increase the velocity of air exiting the underbody to further lower air pressure, in conjunction with active aerodynamic variable flaps that both reduce drag and increase downforce as controlled by a microprocessor. The increased size of the diffuser over the previous 458 requires the twin exhausts of the 488 to be positioned higher in the rear bumper for clearance.

The scalloped side air intakes are an homage to those found on the 308 GTB, and are divided by a central partition. Air entering the top intake is partially directed into the turbocharger compressor intake, while the rest is directed through the rear of the car and exits alongside the rear lights, increasing air pressure behind the car in order to reduce aerodynamic drag. Airflow entering the lower intake is directed towards the intercoolers in order to cool the intake charge.

Pagani Zonda 760 RS

A final edition in a long line of final editions(not that we mind, do we?), the  760 RS was the ultimate Zonda, the pure distillate of its essence, a loud, unhinged even more powerful Pagani.

The Zonda 760RS is another one-off version built for a businessman in Chile, who is said to be a very close friend of Horacio Pagani. It has a 760 hp engine attached to a sequential gearbox and finished with a carbon exterior and black interior. The 760RS also features a distinctive rear fin that runs down the centre of the car, while also feature the same air ducts and roof air intake as the Cinque.

760LH.
Same as the Zonda 760 RS, it features a different colour, purple, both for the exterior and the interior, and a manual gearbox instead of the sequential one. It has been commissioned upon request of Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, hence the initials LH.

764 Passione.
The Zonda 764 Passione features the same appearances as that of the 760RS and the 760LH, but features a bigger rear spoiler and bigger distinctive central rear fin. It is finished in grey carbon fibre with accents of natural carbon fibre with light grey striping on the sides and the Italian flag running alongside the nose just like on the Tricolore. The car has purple-pink interior with wooden steering wheel, all done upon customer's request. The 7.3L V12 AMG M120 engine is tuned to produce 760 hp and is mated to the same 6-speed manual gearbox Lewis Hamilton commissioned on his Zonda. The 764 Passione was delivered to its owner in Tokyo, Japan in December 2012.

760 Fantasma.
The 760 Fantasma is the fourth 760-series Zonda, after the 760RS, 760LH and 764 Passione, and is a rebuilt orange Zonda F which was badly damaged in an accident in Hong Kong during 2012.[16] The car was originally commissioned by Peter Saywell, chassis number 53, who later sold it to a Chinese businessman in Hong Kong. After the car's accident it was sent back to the Pagani factory where it was repaired and received all the 760-series upgrades. The central monocoque is now made of Carbotanium and finished in reddish maroon with the Italian flag running up from its nose like the Zonda Tricolore with the central section left unpainted. The only details remaining unchanged are wheels which are from the Zonda F and the interior.

The 760-series Zondas are considered to be the most powerful road-legal Zondas ever produced.

2015 Ford Mustang

The sixth generation Ford Mustang is a pony car manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. The sixth generation was presented at private Ford events on December 5, 2013 and commenced series production at the Ford Flat Rock Assembly Plant on July 14, 2014. In departure from prior Mustang models, the sixth generation Mustang includes fully independent rear suspension on all models, as well as an optional 2.3L EcoBoost turbocharged and direct injected four cylinder engine. The new Mustang was introduced as a 2015 model year vehicle, marking the fiftieth anniversary of the Ford Mustang, which was revealed as a 1965 model year vehicle on April 17, 1964.

It faces fresh competition from the spanking new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro.

This will also be the first Ford Mustang to be marketed and sold globally, and the first factory right hand drive Mustangs produced in addition to the left hand drive models. This is part of Ford's One Ford campaign, which also applies to the Fiesta, Focus, Fusion, Ford Mondeo, Escape, Ford Kuga, Edge, Ford Transit Connect, Ford Transit, as well as other models.

Background

Ford Mustang convertible
The sixth generation of the Ford Mustang debuted on December 5, 2013 with same-day media events in Dearborn, Michigan, Los Angeles, California, New York City, New York, Barcelona, Spain, Shanghai, China, and Sydney, Australia. The 2015 Mustang marks the 50th anniversary of continuous Mustang production, which began in March 1964 in advance of the debut of the original Mustang at the 1964 New York World's Fair on April 17, 1964 in Flushing, Queens.

Development of the 2015 Mustang, codenamed "S550," began in 2009 under chief engineer Dave Pericak and (from late-2009) exterior design director Joel Piaskowski, shortly after the updated 2010 model year Mustang went on sale. In December 2010, an exterior design theme proposal by Kemal Curic from Ford's Cologne, Germany design studios was selected by design management. Curic (also responsible for the 2011 Focus (2012 in the US) and the 2014 Mondeo/Fusion) relocated to Ford's design studios in Dearborn in January 2011. During mid-stage development, Curic's original exterior design proposal was eventually rejected by Ford executives, resulting in rapid design changes. After reviewing 3 different exterior theme proposals (A, B, and C) in design clinics in September 2012, the final exterior design (Theme A) was approved by Ford management, with the final design freeze occurring in December 2012, 20 months ahead of originally scheduled August 2014 production. The interior design program began in the spring of 2010, under Doyle Letson. By late 2011, a final interior proposal was settled on and was combination of Theme A & B. In June 2012, the final interior design was frozen. The first test mules in 2010 model year bodies were spotted earlier in June 2012, and the first S550 prototypes were built five months later (exterior design freeze) in May 2013.

Engine

Three engines are available: a standard aluminum 3.7 L "Cyclone" V6, an optional 2.3 L EcoBoost turbocharged with direct injected I4, or a 5.0 L "Coyote" V8. The 2.3 L EcoBoost engine is new to the Mustang, having debuted in the 2015 model year Lincoln MKC crossover. This four-cylinder includes improvements over earlier versions. The 2.3 Ecoboost engine also marks the return of 4-cylinder engined Mustangs, which were standard in cars produced from 1974 to 1993, as well as in the "SVO" turbocharged models from 1984 to 1986.

The rear famous “vertical bar” style taillight will continue, however will be lit by LED, and will illuminate sequentially when being used for turn signals.

Interior

The new Mustang’s interior body style resembles that of an airplane cockpit boasting an increased body width, and a larger cabin similar to the Ford GT. This gives more room in the back of the vehicle for rear passengers. “The changeable ambient lighting continues, but it will spread beyond the dials, cup holders, and speakers to other points within the cabin, something also found in European luxury cars like the new S-class.”
A metal tag on the dashboard bears the Ford Mustang "Running Horse" insignia.

Technology

The car includes features such as; proximity key and push-button start, a center touch screen with voice-activated control, a radar-based blind spot monitoring system, and a parking sensor system which can alert drivers to objects approaching perpendicular to rear of the vehicle, such as other vehicles in a car-park, while the driver is attempting to reverse out of space.

For 2015, the Coupe style is renamed the Fastback to pay tribute to the previous-generation Mustang models. The Convertible remains the same. The 2015 Ford Mustang is offered in several models:

Additional options, such as larger alloy wheels, navigation system, rear backup sensors, a rear backup camera, Blind Spot Monitoring, security system, remote vehicle starter system, SHAKER PRO Surround Sound Premium Sound System, premium leather seating surfaces, sunroof and HID front headlamps are available. Interior color schemes, such as Coral Red and Saddle, are available in addition to the standard Black interior color scheme.

Shelby GT350R (2015-)

A further enhanced and even more limited edition of the GT350 with an "R" package (GT350R) was announced by Ford at the 2015 North American International Auto show in Detroit, to be available to customers later in the year.

Shelby GT350R is more than 130 pounds lighter than the Shelby GT350 Track Pack model, which has proven its durability in multiple 24-hour racetrack tests.

F-35 Lightning II (2015)

On July 31, 2014 a special 2015 Mustang was auctioned off at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) AirVenture air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with proceeds going to benefit the EAA’s Young Eagles program.

"Dubbed the F-35 Lightning II Mustang after the new F-35 Lightning II fighter jet, this slammed, one-off 2015 Mustang GT fastback was one of the first Mustangs to be sold anywhere. It has a completely original look that includes glossy and matte dark-silver paint along with yellow hood stripes, mirror caps, and brake calipers. Blue and yellow rear-end graphics mimic the tail livery of early-production examples of its airworthy namesake, as does the gold tint on its windows. The car sits on lowered Eibach springs and custom black and yellow Forgiato 21-inch wheels, while the exhaust system is modified with larger, ceramic-coated cans. And no car could be named after a fighter jet without sporting one serious aero kit—the F-35 Lightning II Mustang slices through the air with carbon-fiber components including a ground-scraping front splitter, sill extensions, a rear diffuser, and a stand-up rear spoiler. The final touches come in the form of an F-35 badge on the rear panel, and the flags of nine U.S. allies give colorful display on the lower doors."

"The interior sports an intense, high-contrast mix of black and yellow bits, with aggressively bolstered Recaro racing seats, a modified instrument cluster, a custom audio system, and sill plates, as well as F-35 Lightning II embroidery on the floor mats, door panels, and seatbacks. The car comes with a manual 6-speed transmission"

Roush RS Models (2015-)

"The basic Roush RS, RS Stage 1, and RS Stage 2 are primarily cosmetic kits for Mustang V-6, EcoBoost, and GT models. The standard components of each RS model include new front and rear fascias, new grillework, driving lamps, side-sill extensions, a rear spoiler, embroidered floor mats, and a smattering of brand fireworks on the fenders, grille, trunklid, windshield, dashboard, and engine bay. Stage 1 vehicles also tout a performance exhaust system, while Stage 2 cars get all of the above plus a set of five-spoke 20-inch “Quicksilver” wheels and Cooper RS3 performance tires. (The rolling stock is available as an upgrade on the other two models.) Optional on all are a hood scoop, window scoops, billet pedals, a ball shifter, Roush gauges, and Roush doorsill plates. Stage 1 and Stage 2 models can also be upgraded with a reverse-sensing system and active exhaust."
